Be sure to read all the way to the end! Tax his land, Tax his bed, Tax the table At which he's fed. Tax his tractor, Tax his mule, Teach him taxes Are the rule. Tax his cow, Tax his goat, Tax his pants, Tax his coat. Tax his ties, Tax his shirt, Tax his work, Tax his dirt.
Tax his tobacco, Tax his drink, Tax him if he Tries to think.
Tax his cigars, Tax his beers, If he cries, then Tax his tears. Tax his car, Tax his gas, Find other ways To tax his ass Tax all he has Then let him know That you won't be done Till he has no dough. When he screams and hollers, Then tax him some more, Tax him till He's good and sore. Then tax his coffin, Tax his grave, Tax the sod in Which he's laid. Put these words upon his tomb, "Taxes drove me to my doom..." When he's gone, Do not relax, Its time to apply The inheritance tax. Accounts Receivable Tax Building Permit Tax CDL license Tax Cigarette Tax Corporate Income Tax Dog License Tax Excise Taxes Federal Income Tax Federal Unemployment Tax (FUTA) Fishing License Tax Food License Tax, Fuel permit tax Gasoline Tax (42 cents per gallon) Gross Receipts Tax Hunting License Tax Inheritance Tax Inte rest expense Inventory tax IRS Interest Charges IRS Penalties (tax on top of tax) Liquor Tax Luxury Taxes Marriage License Tax Medicare Tax Personal Property Tax Property Tax Real Estate Tax Service charge taxes Social Security Tax Road usage taxes Sales Tax Recreational Vehicle Tax School Tax State Income Tax State Unemployment Tax (SUTA) Telephone federal excise tax Telephone federal universal service fee tax Telephone federal, state and local surcharge taxes Telephone minimum usage surcharge tax Telephone recurring and non-recurring charges tax Telephone state and local tax Telephone usage charge tax Utility Taxes Vehicle License Registration Tax Vehicle Sales Tax Watercraft registration Tax Well Permit Tax Worker s Compensation Tax COMMENTS: Not one of these taxes existed 100 years ago, and our nation was the most prosperous in the world. We had absolutely no national debt, had the largest middle class in the world, and Mom stayed home to raise the kids. What the hell happened? Can you spell "politicians!" And I still have to "press 1" for English.

Answer? vote for the Libertarians and Independents.. every vote for the 2 main parties is a vote for bigger government, more taxes, more costly programs and for a shrinking middle class.

when they run someone who is A. not a wing nut and B. has a chance of winning so that my vote does not go down the crapper, i'll do that. unfortunately, even a good 3rd party person usually splits the vote and we end up with??
as it stands now, this may be the first time in my life that i don't vote.

How many times have I heard that and often wondered if all the folks that thought that did indeed vote for that person then that person just might have won.

Forget the presidency for now. Just vote for anyone but the 2 main parties for the house and the senate. Having 100 independents or Libs in the house or 20-40 in the senate will go a long way to reducing the problems within this country. Anyone who doesn't vote or who votes for a republican or democrat blindly (there 'are' some good ones out there) is agreeing to everything this country has become.

a lot of people vote the letter. that way they don't have to be informed about issues or people. while i find i generally vote republican, that is not always true. especially in local and state elections.
if i don't vote this time, it will be because i don't want any of them as president. this time i will not vote for the best of the bad. i am to old for that. it is not worth it. this is the first time i have come to the conclusion that there is no one to vote for. that's not a good feeling.

Is this to say an independent or libertarian cannot become corrupt when under the influence of DC?Many good people succumb to the pressure and allure of being a career politician and forget who got them there!

Many of those taxes mentioned did exist 100 yrs ago. Our revolutuionary war was fought, among other reasons, b/c of taxation. Remember "taxation w/o representation." The problem is not politicians per se, but us. We accept the status qou b/c it takes too much time and energy to fight the gov't all the time. Thats why lobbyists are so succesful. Its there job to influence gov't officials. They can do it all day and night, while we work to pay our taxes.
