To one and all. This is one of those years you will see now and again. Because of the great loss, the bees have a built in sence that tells them to swarm more then usual. They know they have to replace their loss same as you and I. You need to get some of your extra equipment fixed and ready for swarm catching.
Always leave the box in the upright and if you can, place it where you want another colony. If they're going to take it, location has very little to do with it. Unless it is in an "outragous" place.
