The serious side--until the last 3 or so years the asking price for a 2 story colony of bees was in dollars, the amount that the honey packer was paying for a pound of honey in cents.

If the packer paid .80 cents a pound for honey, a 2 story colony of bees was worth $80 dollars   Charlie
