Yeah I know, I never put it on the calender. But yesterday was my B_day. Want to know how I spent it? I starved myself for most of the day then later I started taking these nasty pills.....
OSMOPREP 1.5GM TAB SALI
I bet some of you know what that is for. This was four tablets taken at 3:00pm 4@3:15pm 4@3:30pm 4@3:45pm 4@4:00pm
Then it starts again 4@8:00pm 4@8:15pm 4@8:30pm
Then I get to top it off with four Dulcolax at 9:30pm
After the 5:00pm pills you can imagine what was going on. And on top of that I up-chucked. What eventually came up was way pass the stomach.
So for those that are getting the picture you can imagine what the night was like. Now remember I think I mentioned I always have headaches, well I couldn't take any of my excedrins since Monday. I gave in and took a dose Wednesday. So here I have a hurting head to go with all this other CRAP, if that is what one would call what was coming out.
So I show up at the Dr.'s office at 6:00am. Fill out the paper work and sit and wait.... and wait.... and wait. I see the Doctor walking in at 7:25am. I am sitting there with this awful aching head for an hour and a half before the Doc even shows up. All I wanted was one of two things, either throw my paper work on the admit counter and go home, or they get me back there and give me the good drugs to put me to sleep.
Finally almost 8:30 I get to go to the back and answer more questions get the gown on, and finally get led to a bed. Then the part I really dread.... THE I.V..... Well at least she got it on the first stick (my veins move around) but it must have gone a little to far it was hurting. She backed it out a bit and it felt fine.
Finally got rolled down the hall towards the good drugs...YES!!!... but had to wait in the hall for the previous victim to get rolled out of the room.
OK I am finally there. Finally the blissful darkness falls around me. And I remember something about trying to tell them the thing was going in wrong. OH I didn't mention.... I was getting Scoped from both ends. They have you bite down on this little plastic circular thing before you are put down....I mean to sleep. I was trying to tell them this thing was slipping and the scope thing was going wrong. Then I drifted out of my blissful slumber to find myself in the recovery room. I saw one of the people that was tortu....er...Treating me and waved to let her know I was awake....because something didn't feel right. You see, I am no strange to either of these intrusions. Sure enough it turns out I was fighting them. They even gave me more sleepy stuff and they couldn't control me. I was pulling the thing out of my mouth. I think there were three of them, but I held them off. So they were bringing in an anesthesiologist with a hammer. I mean more drugs. As she was wheeling me back to the room she said they were going to knock me out and remove my brain, Is that correct? I said that was it. Then of course I told her what they were going to do because they always want to know how aware you are of what is going on.
Well there were no surprises from the upper entry, I still have ulcers. And I think they found a pollup... what ever that is and how ever you spell it.... in the lower entry.
Yes boys and girls....Welcome to my birthday party.
