Today I had to get a picture of cleaning the lawn with a Shop-Vac!!

Well i must admit last summer i did try my leaf vacuum/blower to try to vacuum the house.....
Worked great no need to pick things up first...toys, magazines,socks,dirt ..all the same to it....
Great for getting the kids outta bed on the weekend...really loud...but very dusty..

There was this one old lady in the neighborhood that had the nicest lawn around. She would be out just about every day sweeping it. Yes sweeping with the old straw type brooms we had back in the day. And if you knew what the spring weather was back then you know it was a chore. We had dirt storms back then. Couldn't see across the street if you were standing on the curb it was so much dust in the air.
