capitalism is the financial side of the survival instinct. that's why socialism doesn't work. it is counter-intuitive.

i'm sorry john, but i don't actually see your point. exactly which statement of mine bothers you, i mean, with what do you dissagree? i read it 3 times and still don't see the red line. you want to say USA isn't a capitalistic country, or that it is? like kathy said it, human nature is capitalistic, period! the whole socialism idea is based on capitalistic hunger of the few on top. socialism and komunism are the cancer of all modern civilizations. it supports lazines and tells you not to think, just do what the country says, oh don't work, the country will work for you. hummm, and who is the country? oh yeah, we have many bad memories of socialism around here. while many of us are happy we are out of it, some say we were better of, bollocks!! capitalism is in our heads, so it is in every horses head or even a bees head!
corruption is everywhere, i see it all around me, like you said, it's not capitalism which causes it, mostly it's parent-child love. even though many are not blood relatives.
hehe i know that the heartbeat of many you americans went preety well up when you saw the tittle, hihihi. the tittle was not the accident, i think that everyone saw it's a mere sarcasm when they read on. anyway, i got the attention, didn't i, hehe

Our Capitalistic nature that many hate is also what feeds the hungry that so often are in dire consequences.IT IS ALSO THE CAPITALISTS WHO SHOW UP WHEN THE NATURAL DISASTERS STRIKE WORLDWIDE.It is mostly the capitalists that helped rid this planet of many dreaded diseases. And they are the ones to defend the naysayers from tyrants who can not defend themselves. And would do it again even after the ungrateful get in trouble again. Great feed back on your viewpoints everyone.I've enjoyed following this lively debate!!

Our Capitalistic nature that many hate Really, I think, they are jealous of you, they envy you your power. It is not the capitalism. All the powers have suffered the envy. Islamic integrism is capitalist, and Europe, where we can find any schizoprenia cases, where people wear jeans but hate you, is capitalist. IT IS ALSO THE CAPITALISTS WHO SHOW UP WHEN THE NATURAL DISASTERS STRIKE WORLDWIDE Yes. But supercompanies are not totally capitalist, not the Adam Smith liberal capitalism where everybody can compete. Companies are an eternal unnatural disaster along the third world. OK I am egoist too, and I want cheap bananas, coffe and more. But if I have a legion of illegal inmigrants at doors what can I say? Your post is 100% right, but nothing is perfect, capitalism need of social, not socialist, measures.

Socialism in it's true form without corruption works exceedingly well and is probably one of the best models for survival. Just look at the bee hive as a perfect example.

exceedingly well and is probably one of the best models for survival many things look good on paper. that's why academics come up with so many harebrained schemes. can you show me a real world example of a successful socialist (human) society? some animals eat their young, but i don't recommend it to humans as an example of how we should practice population control.

he already told what you stated, the "look good on paper" part, so no need to argue

Just look at the bee hive as a perfect example. A hive can be considered a good communist example, but can be considered as fascist example too. real world example of a successful socialist (human) society? Any tribus in the Amazonia, or in Africa. I am not going to say, as Rousseau said, that Indians lived better before the European discovered America, but actually pygmis in Africa and Yanomamis in Brazil live as they have choosed, THEY ARE FREE. You know mankind is bad, is a wolf for men (Hobbes: "HOMO HOMINIBUS LUPUS"), but "White Man", the caucasian, is the single that have invaded every continent.

Yeah, but bees throw out the drones at the end of the year to die in the cold to conserve food for "The ones that matter". Well, I'm a guy and that really scares me. I don't want my wife tossing me out in the winter so the girls can have more to eat! Perfect? No way. No one deserves to die.
