I just found this site looking for a forum to discuss beekeeping. I got back into beekeeping last year after a ten year break. Boy, have things changed.
I started one hive with "russian" bees. It didn't survive the winter. I will search the forum for info as to why? and what I can do differently this year.

Welcome. Our grandmaster is also from NJ. So I would say to update your location information in your profile. And see how close you are to the great beekeeper of the forums. Not to mention the other members who call the garden state home.
Sincerely,
Brendhan
