Thank you for the forum. I am a 3 year novice at beekeeping. Had honey the first year, but lost the bees to winter. I did not know what i was doing. Started again and failed. Started again and had one hive make it.
I chose my name because it is my name - Bmjudd = Brett Judd. Easy to remember. I need that.

It's my name. Hi folks I'm new and I'm not sure how to navigate this web site. I'm a new beekeeper April 19th to be exact. I thought I was told that normally new packaged bees don't swarm the first year. Well, I believe both my hives swarmed today. I've got more to ask but I'll see if I get any replies to this post. Thanks for any help. PS I managed to "catch" the bees and get them out of the rain.

In an attempt to find a name that I did not have to alter (add numbers or extra letters to) for joining fourms etc., I ran across this add in a newspaper for nasal sponges. Well it has worked perfectly.....never had to alter it!

My name is new.It used to be fabtaxman now it is fabtinman. fab is for the first three letters of my name, fabtinman is because I had both knees replaced last year and they need warming up to work sometimes. So my wife named me tinman from the wizard of OZ.

I used to sell neodymium magnets on ebay eight years ago and used the name magnet-man. I just kept on using it because it was unique.

My member name is a combination of the first initials of my 3 boys and part of my family name...nothing too unusual I guess. Greetings from outside Boston. Looking forward to sharing information regarding bee keeping.

I wanted it to be simple and straight forward. It explains what I do. I sell high quality mated queens. I do contract sales of mated queens.
All queens are contracted by making a nonrefundable deposit as it takes 30 days to develop a queen. I will not pull queens from one order to sell one or a few to the last minute buyer as that is not ethical!
Regards, BEES4U

Oh, wow. Mine was a nightmare to come up with. I spent countless hours obsessing over it while sweating out a headache that seemed to be ever present right behind my left eye, and out of the ashes came the ultimate member name, [drumroll] My first name and first initial of my last name! [/drumroll] I know, I know, I'm brilliant [bowing] Thank you! Thank you! [/bowing] And VOILA! There ya have it!

My rationale is too easy. My town is "Lacey, WA" and my name is Mike. Thus laceymike!
