Yep that is it. We wanted a 2004 2005 Chevrolet Aveo Repair Manual. Now this is really neat. Notice the words above the manual says this is a 2004 2005 Chevrolet Aveo Haynes Paper Repair Manual. But look at the picture of it here;

Seems perhaps the Haynes Repair manual publishing company messed up.

Can anyone show me the cover of the Aveo repair manual? I know I'm not the greatest searcher of the web.

Also looking for a phone number to Haynes Publications, Inc. Seems they might have a place in Newbury Park, California.

i googled your exact request and came up with the same manual you did on each site.  are you sure the numbers don't match even if it says GM instead of chevy?  is it like datsun and nissan??

I found that site you posted and you click on that one for california and it is under repair.

Not sure what you are asking..... Chevrolet is a general motors product. But I am not looking for a transmission overhaul manual, I am looking for an auto repair manual for a Chevy Aveo. That manual includes everything on the car, not just the transmission, and besides, our Aveo has a manual transmission.

See if I wanted to get a book to repair a 2000 Dodge Durango I would expect to find something like this,

So I would think the Chevy Aveo book would have some words like Chevrolet Aveo Haynes repair manual with the picture of the car on it. That's the wat I've seen all the other repair manuals.

ahhhhh.  i see.

that site was all i could find.  i didn't find a business listing or any other web site. 

only other thing i can think to do is call a GM dealer or find an auto repair place that does those kinds of cars and call them.  see if they can point you in the right direction.  even if you have to call someone across the country, they may be able to help.  you should be able to google the info, but there are good googlers on here if you need help

Well no matter how I google it I get something that isn't it. And the simple fact that we specifically ordered the Aveo Repair manual and got the same manual that keeps coming up on the searches, I just have to conclude that item numbers must have been messed up or something. And I have to wonder if I am the only one EVER to try to get an aveo manual....

We are thinking about going to Barnes and Noble and ask them to look up each one of these books like we are going to order them and see if they come up with different numbers or the same numbers or nothing at all. I think they also have pictures pop up on their computer screen of what is being ordered. This should get interesting.

But yes. Any master googlers out there HELP
