A New Nosema

 I would like to quote a paragraph from the article "A new nosema" In the Feb. 2007 issue of Bee Culture.

" Nosema infected equipment can be decontaminated by use of heat
(120 F for 24 hours). The temperature must not exceed this or the combs might melt. The technique must be used on empty comb only. Funigation with acetic acid and ethylene oxide have also been reported and recommended."   Charlie

Nosema ceranae has spread quite widely in Europe, to several countries.  How to destroy it if don't se it?
It is worse than normal nosema.

Nosema ceranae has spread and charlie is correct by heating to 120 f will kill nosema and as soon as you see your colony getting it by watching them closely you can stop it from spreading goodday  --gnhoney--

How do you see it? When you see, it has done it's bad job.

How dou you sterilize bees gut in autumn if not with Fumidil?

I can´t find fumidil in Spain. Fumidil is not allowed in Europe because it is carcinogenic (cancerígeno).  But it is tolerated in America. How do you eat that?

On the other hand, my bees are alive and they don´t see fumidil. They are strongest.
