Marmalade has returned to the doorstep of its owners in NSW, 11 years after going missing, breaking the hearts of its owners.

Marmalade vanished one night after its owners had moved house recently, in 1996. The microchip in the cat confirms that it is indeed the same creature.

I believe it has spent the last 11 years at a house that offered better food and when that food ran out or the family moved, leaving it behind, it got off its fat butt and went home.

A search is underway for marmalades temporary owners to explain this conundrum.
