didn't they test it and decide it had a high iron content and the yellow was rust?

huh, i remember...some 6 years ago, we had this orangely-brown snow. oh...and 3 years ago again. it's not the snow that's fascinating, it's the day when it falls, a red day. but of course the snow was red from sand from africa 8-)

Very interesting.  I can't say we ever get snow or oddly colored percipitation here but, there's always red tide (twice in the last 2 years) and, it certainly produces a prounounced, foul odor.
