where could i download a scanner program

just wondering if there was anywhere i could download a fire and police scanner to my computer

here is one site.  if you google it, you'll find others.  i have not tried any.

nope kathy that site u can only buy scanners but i did get some frequencies into mine now.

buzzbeejr, if you scrolled down, they list live feeds.  they also had some other sites listed.

let us know what else you find.  sounds interesting.  i found one for Portland, oregon...not that i really want to listen to them!  :-)

I think he was hoping for a program to pick live signals off the air. I wonder if they make a card for the computer that will let you use it as a scanner?
I'll have to investigate,they seem to have cards for everything else such as tv radio,bluetooth or whatever else.

you can also goto http://shoutcast.com and search for scanners. thats how I did it before I got mine.
