I have entered the digital TV age
« on: January 05, 2007, 04:21:38 AM »
I bought an el cheapo standard definition set top box. For the first time in my life, I have perfect reception of all 5 free to air channels, and 2 extra ones. Its not much, I dont wanna pay the 70 bucks a month for cable tv, as I only watch it for a couple of hours a night, but I am a happy man!

Whenever an Aussie goes to the States, the first day is always spent flicking through TV channels.

when i went down under, i spent time catching up on the shows i'd missed :-).  what kind of crazy people are we that we have 200 channels to watch?  on Monday, i will join you in the digital world.  our Christmas gift to ourselves was a flat screen.  i have been told that the HD will be awesome. now i wonder, will we all get fat sitting in front of these things? :-\

Too many Remotes!

Just get one universal! a pain to program at first, then bam life's easy.

One of the remotes is a universal, but doesnt do everything. More money required!
