he is just trying to present us his photos and stuff from his farm. obviusly he has the links to all that stuff already in signature but nevertheless. plus he's making a little survey. join the survey and enyoj the pictures, that would be my interpretation of this tread!

What is it you grow on your black fabric? Here's what we've got on ours: Potted fall mums! Some additions we made to the farm this year -- Greenhouses 3 & 4: Truck: "Portable" Flat transplanter: From the Garden State -- -- Kris

Well certainly! Let me know if you might be traveling toward Philly sometime soon -- we're probably not far off course.
By the way -- how did the "squatter" bees work out for you this year???

Thanks Kris:
I had two "squatters" take up residence and one is all set for Winter - the other pulled out a month after they moved in. But the hive that stayed is a heavy 2 hive box ready for elements (I have a good wind-break in place and reduced the entrance up) beyond that, I try to let them be as exposed to sun and temps as normal, so that it can warm up on nicer days, etc..
As far as Phoiladelphia is concerned, I had hoped THIS WEEKEND was a trip we'd go, but my wife and I couldn'd agree on what to do, so we are probably going to just do 2 day trips if weather allows rather than a 2 nighter in the city.

I still dont understand but I think it has something to do with you being a farmer.
Maybe you could elaborate more next time. Might make it easier on some of us.
But Im not a farmer, But I live around them, and my school owns a feild that grows Corn and Soybeans. Im in Ag, first year! Whooot! ITs interesting so far.

Hmmmm . . . I can't say for a fact that I've been confused from the beginning . . . but then again, we don't grow mushrooms on our farm (not intentionally, anyway) . . . . . . . -- Kris
