Anyone else ever get the queen when using a cone trap?  Or is it more likely that the brood they put in the trap hive had fresh eggs that a queen was reared from?

From the article;

“We took this hive up here without anything in it except for some honey and one or two combs with capped brood (babies that had already started to pupate),”

Think they could have missed an egg or two?
