Thanks for taking the time for to compiling this information.  It's makes for a great read. It will give me some additional in sight into bee Keeping.

I love George's Pink Papers. His papers read like what he was- a crusty, wizened beek. I have never heard him speak but I can almost hear his voice in my head sometimes. "Bees WILL NOT draw foundation without a nectar flow, knucklehead!!"  Smiley

He had several qualities I look for in a beekeeper to study under: 1) He was very old and had decades of experience. 2) He was also a scientist (worked on the Manhattan Project) so he based his methods upon careful observation rather than, "This is what my Daddy taught me. I love me some french fried taters. Hmmph. "

Information from people like this is invaluable.

I've put my INDEXED (OK, partially indexed) copies of George Imirie's Pink Pages back online after nearly three days of cleaning up and reformatting. If you've been looking for these, sorry - I let my old Comcast personal site lapse some time ago.
