Are those bees carniolans? They are really similar to the black bees.

By the way, the drone in the 2nd page of fotografije tedna looks exhausted...exhausted but with face of happiness.

ALL the bees you can see in this photogalleries are Carniolans. other bees are prohibited in Slovenia, since this breed originates from here, kind of a protecting law, good in my opinion. only the pictures of Frank iz kanade (franc from canada) might be of a different breed

a week ago, we went on a trip to hungary and they told us about their ways of beekeeping, so one beekeeper told this funny thing :We beekeep with carniolans and we managed to make a breed that is very calm, easy to work with. very funny to me since one of the main attributes of carniolan is it's unagressivness.
