I you take you hive from your homeyard and if you return it under 1 month, a part of bees flyes to hive's old place. They have still "chart" in they mind.

Once I took egg laying queen fron hive, and it has layed eggs 3 weeks. It flyed away and returned to its own hive. It has not been outside 3,5 weeks.
