I've been thinking to install the newly introduced Nav4All on my cell phone recently, my friend told me it's a very convenient navigation software, it only requires your GPRS cell to have Bluetooth function, so it can be connected with a GPS signal receiver to triangulate your position, utterly simple to maneuver, yet I just don't know, will the excess usage of Bluetooth significantly shorten the life of my battery? How often do I have to recharge? Does anyone here have some hands-on experience about this?

I've been using a Garmin iQue 3600 (Palm OS PDA/GPS) for three years now, I rely on it to get me anywhere I need to go, as well as remember why I went there
(Lists, schedules, addresses, etc). It's inexpensive compared to an installed solution. I think you'll enjoy your setup.

I am a man, I don't need directions.
Sincerely,
Brendhan
PS. I use maps and a compass. GPS devices seem a bit expensive to me.

Yep,
Where is the adventure any more? GPS. Onstar. Cell phones. Just takes the fun out of driving and exploring don't you think.
Oh. And if you want a good fight..... Just try giving me a cell phone.

Some of the work i do requires me to find places off the beaten path. I use the deloreme street map on my lap top with a gps reciever that plugs in to a usb port. Helps out when traveling as well. It will locate gas stations, resteraunts, walmart, etc. I really love it.
