Well, I managed to pass my proficiency exams and I will be graduating on Sunday the 21st with my Master of Music degree.

I have about 20 students right now, I'd like to expand that to about 40 or 50.  I'm working on a couple of job openings at two local colleges and I'm getting good reports from the freelance community.  I played a couple of weeks ago with a small local orchestra and got two more gigs with bigger orchestras before I left there.

I also manage a team of bagpipers so I get plenty of gigs and management fees from that.

Being a working musician is busy. . .

My formal degrees are in Saxophone Performance, but I also play bagpipes professionally, and I double on clarinet when necessary.

Congratulations!!  I teach piano parttime, also working on the accordion, harmonica. Smiley  I like the bagpipes, have a friend who got married with the bagpipes playing the wedding march.  Cool  Can't say I'd go that far though.

AHHHHH!

Saxaphone!

I love saxaphone! I play Saprano, Tenor, Alto and I can pray beri! I can play an aray of instruments... I had contemplated majoring in music, but i think im going into wildlife photography... (Jr. IN highschool)

What kind of saxpahone do you play whats youre favorite mouth peice an ligature? I love new reeds!  Cheesy
