Hi I'm starting two hives in three days of four pounds of Carniolan bees and queens from australia.  Never tried my hand at this before.  My apiary is backing onto forest, and we have bears yearly so I have built a small two hive hut with welded metal grates for top and bottom entrances.  I am taking beekeeping lessons from HoneylandCanada in a nearby town.  I would like to post pics and share info with anyone interested as I go along.  Thanks.
