Plastic Cardboard

I was approached by a friend today who asked me about plastic cardboard. He was looking for any info about whether it was made strong and stiff enough to be sat upon or was made for other than packing boxes and signs. All I can find is composite made of sawdust and plastic for decking. Does anyone have any insight? Thanks in advance.

Everyone said it couldn't be done. But he with a chuckle replied, "I won't be one to say it is so, until I give it a try." So he buckled right in with a trace of a grin. If he had a worry he hid it and he started to sing as he tackled that thing that couldn't be done, and he did it. (unknown)

Don't know how strong they are but I buy sheets of it here to make trays for SBBs.

Do a google search on "coroplast". They are one of the biggest manufacturers. Sort of like going out to eat and asking for a coke instead of cola.
Check your local sign shops, they will usually sell you 4x8 sheets cheaper than you can buy shippable sizes from the web.
