I can't get enough of it. Fascinating videos about so many different topics.

Netflix
Quite difficult matters can be explained even to a slow-witted man, if only he has not already adopted a wrong opinion about them; but the simplest things cannot be made clear even to a very intelligent man if he is firmly persuaded that he already knows, and knows indubitably, the truth of the matter under consideration. -Leo Tolstoy

I have watched that before. So many good presentations I couldn't pick a favorite.

Been watching them for quite awhile, and You're right…..there's 'a lot' of them.  The wife and I try to catch at least 'one' TED Talk per day.

……we still have some (much) catching up to do  :)  We consider it one of the best, most informative sites available on the internet.

I will try to poke around and try to post a good one I saw last year that really stuck with me. I encourage everyone to do the same.

This video is making some waves because TED pulled it from their site.
Banned TED Talk: Nick Hanauer "Rich people don't create jobs"

I wasn't overly impressed but I can't figure out why....

I don't know….I think he nailed it…..perhaps another viewing is in order..?  The scowling face of Don Trump was hilarious…..

I wonder why it was pulled…..its no more or less controversial, or insightful than most.

Redbug - I am going to assume you mean the one by Chimamanda Adichie.
I agree.

TBeek - The ideas he presents aren't new or groundbreaking or particularly thought provoking. I agree with his point of who the real job creators are, that is common sense where I'm concerned. We the average people have so much power but most just don't realize it, which is sad.

His ideas may not be new or groundbreaking or particularly thought provoking to you or I, but its a message not heard very often.

How often do 'you' hear this type of message?  Where on this planet is it readily available without the usual condemnation or confusion?

I'd be willing to wager the 'majority' never hears this type of message or if they do…its by some talking head labeling it communism or socialism ……so………..I urge you to PASS IT FORWARD………..

AGREED;  after 2000 years of conditioning the masses we are perhaps at our weakest point of manipulation by the 'controllers'…..but I can see and feel the changes coming…..baby steps……just taking some baby steps... :)

You asked why is was pulled- those were the reasons.
TED felt it didn't meet the standard, no other reason. They also claim it isn't censorship because it is still available on other sources(YouTube). They own the video and could have it removed but haven't done so.
