Gas prices
« on: February 07, 2014, 09:13:31 AM »
Just watching local news, CBS report on gas prices said they are going back up. From $3.55 to $3.75 is expected before June. Our local prices here around Nashville are between $3.08 and $3.30. Do you recon that Keystone pipeline would give alittle relief?
On Jan. 19, O9 the last day Bush was president gas was $1.62 per gallon at the BP where I buy gas.. Now $3.09 and it hurts when you have to fill up.
The news also said we have ice and snow headed our way again.

The liberals do not want cheaper fuel prices. That is how they will justify more costly alternatives.

During the interview with Bill O'rielly, O'rielly said to the president, " you are going to give the "OK" to proceed with the pipeline are you not? ". Although he did not give Obama time to fully answer, The look on Obama's face said it all.  I say, he will not.

Gas prices still rising and Obama still will not OK the Keystone Pipeline because of some rich guy who is against the pipeline is going to give Democratic politicians $100 million.

Keep telling yourselves it is a Left/Right problem. That's exactly what they want.
Quite difficult matters can be explained even to a slow-witted man, if only he has not already adopted a wrong opinion about them; but the simplest things cannot be made clear even to a very intelligent man if he is firmly persuaded that he already knows, and knows indubitably, the truth of the matter under consideration. -Leo Tolstoy

    Who is they?

Were you not listening when Obama told us he was going to force Americans to pay higher energy prices in order to force his Green energy policies down our throats?

The Left does have a problem with OIL.

Obama will keep dragging his feet and in the end, will do everything he can to stop the pipeline.

I just paid $4.21 in good old Leftist controlled Ca.

Who is they?

The people who really control the money and create the policy.

The people who pit right and left against one another, dividing the masses so they argue and fight amongst themselves.

Most people don't notice because they are too busy trying to make a living to look around. Which is exactly what THEY want.

No one "pits" me against anyone. I'm able to do this for myself.  :)   Reason? ...  I disagree with just about everything Leftist believe in. It is true, Obama and his Ilk create victims in order to cause discourse. Obama is a terrible human being who enjoys promoting hatred.

I bet I can find plenty of Left side voters who are very much just like you. The few differences are the points that receive all the attention so they appear SO BIG. But really, they're not. Of course a discussion and possible understanding won't happen. It's much easier to continue doing what we've always done. :buttkick:

Please continue, it is exactly what they want.

    "Appear so big!"

I believe in our past, our history, our greatness and capitalism. Obama and his ilk are shoving socialism down our throats and you believe there is no difference. OK, fine. Its your point of view. I disagree and will fight socialism every way I can.

Hitler was for socialism, too, and the sheeple voted him in and supported him.

I believe in our past, our history, our greatness and capitalism.

You just agreed with 75% of the left.
The other 25% aren't against capitalism. But they aren't for the crony capitalism that prevails today.
See, plenty in common.

? ... I can't see you,  so I must guess your face is straight. Did you just say, "I agree with 75% of the left"? On which planet?

By the way, do you speak for the left?  Obama, (a lefties leftist) told all of us he would not stand for Crony Capitalism. You must be very disappointed. Do you FEEL like he betrayed you? When Barry gets caught lying to the people, do you become angry?  I do. Even though I did not vote for him.

Not sure why you want to convince us, there is not a difference between socialist and our great country.

4 points were made

Past
History
Greatness
Capitalism

of the 4, the first 3 are mutually held in agreement. The 4th, in its true form doesn't offend most Lefts.
3 of 4 = 75% basic math

So I must be Left because I point out an error from the Right? Nope. I do the same either way Left or Right. Two feet of the same behemoth.

I probably won't convince you. That's good- THEY like it that way.

The ones doing that right now are the Democrates who are in control of the White House and the one who is in charge of the Senate. And THEY are making Saul Alinski proud.

Tsk!  Now see what you have done! .... Do I have to point this out?  :)
    1) Our PAST       Sorry, the left does not much care for it.
    2) Our History    Sorry, the left ..... wait ... a little redundant.
    3) Our greatness   Sorry, Leftist will pass on this one too.
    4) Capitalism        Really? Leftist spend 24/7 trying to take it down.

The reason we are divided is because socialism sucks (history proves this) and capitalism does not.

The reason we are divided is because They say the Left is for Socialism and They say the Right is for Crony Capitalism. What's worse, They progress to move both parties in those very directions. The parties follow the money. Period.

The Obama administration is eat up with Crony Capitalism. General Electric, the green energy companies that taxpayers gave millions to, the billionaire who doesn't want the pipeline, the crape that is going on in Nevada, the company that supposed to have set up Obama Care website, ect, ect. They are not Republicans. :-x
