Brrrr is it cold out there!  I hope you and your bees are keeping warm.

Unfortunately I’ve been too busy to add electric heat to my smaller medium nucs and suspect I will lose a lot of them. Sad

How’s your bees liking the cold?

Cold, it was 84 degrees yesterday and will probably be I the 80's again today.  grin Bees are bringing in lots of pollen.
The jet stream that looped down bringing in cold weather to most of the US is pulling up warm humid air from the south, to north east FL.
I grew up in eastern PA. I miss the snow and ice.

I was sweating at work last Thursday and Friday. Yesterday at work wasn't bad (40s). Like sawdstmakr said. When I went outside Thursday morning before daybreak - it was muggy.

It's gotta be tough up north, hat's off to yall.

Kinda balmy this morning, only 9 below zero.  Had 19 below yesterday  laugh

All five colonies had some 'frost' accumulated around the top entrances.  They're ALIVE!
