OK, so if the alcohol gets ,say, 10% more efficiency, but contains only 50% as much potential, that means it will burn hotter, but get you less miles, wear engine parts faster, and overall, cost you more. Also, causing you to burn more gallons, thus loosing the net savings of waste. A loser on all sides.
