Friends and family were all US Marshals and all very much involved in Tigerton with the Posse and Gresham with AIM.   Close friend Jim Hopson was shot and killed by the nutcases.  Another good friend Deputy Lad Zilinka was shot in wounded knee SD.   Lad Lived Jim didn't

Sorry danno; This discussion doesn't belong here 'in this place'  In fact I feel its a bit sacrilege IMHO.  I too have lost (too many) friends and colleagues over the years serving with DOD, State and Department of Interior (BIA), and pay tribute to them all daily.

good for all of us that you don't get to decide what conversation belongs where.

.....The greatest changes occur in their country without their cooperation. They are not even aware of precisely what has taken place. They suspect it; they have heard of the event by chance. More than that, they are unconcerned with the fortunes of their village, the safety of their streets, the fate of their church and its vestry. They think that such things have nothing to do with them, that they belong to a powerful stranger called “the government.” They enjoy these goods as tenants, without a sense of ownership, and never give a thought to how they might be improved.....

Very True, I completely agree.  I can only imagine all the exploding heads if rational and truly open discussions actually took place around here grin

Besides, I think we already know who the deciders are  Wink  (how long do we keep 'this' up?)  beat a dead horse
