Any truth to this?
« on: November 15, 2013, 10:56:27 AM »
What does this word mean?
 Dhimmitude

The word "Dhimmitude" is found in the new health care bill;

so what does it mean?

Thought this was interesting and worth passing on.

Obama used it in the health care bill.

Now isn't this interesting?

It is also included in the health care law.

Dhimmitude -- I had never heard the word until now. I typed it into Google and started reading. Pretty interesting. It's on page 107 of the healthcare bill. I looked this up on Google and yep, it exists. It is a REAL word.

Dhimmitude is the Muslim system of controlling non-Muslim populations conquered through jihad (Holy War). Specifically, it is the TAXING of non-Muslims in exchange for tolerating their presence AND as a coercive means of converting conquered remnants to Islam.

ObamaCare allows the establishment of Dhimmitude and Sharia Muslim diktat in the United States . Muslims are specifically exempted from the government mandate to purchase insurance, and also from the penalty tax for being uninsured. Islam considers insurance to be "gambling", "risk-taking", and "usury" and is thus banned. Muslims are specifically granted exemption based on this.

How convenient. So I, as a Christian, will have crippling IRS liens placed against all of my assets, including real estate, cattle, and even accounts receivable, and will face hard prison time because I refuse to buy insurance or pay the penalty tax. Meanwhile, Louis Farrakhan (the Muslim) will have no such penalty and will have 100% of his health insurance needs paid for by the de facto government insurance. Non-Muslims will be paying a tax to subsidize Muslims. This is Dhimmitude.

Scroll to the bottom of the page. You will find 3 links. Your own personal downloadable files for future reference.
Using the search function in my PDF reader no matches were found for dhimmitude.

Looks to be untrue to me.
Quite difficult matters can be explained even to a slow-witted man, if only he has not already adopted a wrong opinion about them; but the simplest things cannot be made clear even to a very intelligent man if he is firmly persuaded that he already knows, and knows indubitably, the truth of the matter under consideration. -Leo Tolstoy

...I think it's a tongue in cheek allusion to the phrase, "dhim_witted"...at least in the context it is being used here.

:lau: :lau:  When in doubt-check out snopes for doses of reality….oh my, that was a good laugh.

We only see what we want to see.  And no, there's no truth to it.  Where does this crap come from?  And why would anyone spread it around unless there were other motives?   Wait, let me guess  :-D

The word does not appear anywhere in the PPACA and has no application to U.S. Health Care Legislation.

It's a French neologism coined by adding the suffix TUDE to the word DHIMMI-An Arabic word meaning "protected"

It is an "UNTRUTH" spread by hate….nothing more.

...and the ultimate irony is that the only groups that do qualify for the kinds of exemptions that are being referred to are sects of Christianity...those that have proven to take care of themselves and refuse payouts when offered.

Become a Mennonite (and live by standards that don't allow you to take any money from the Govt or insurance....be that kind of person) and you can skip the mandate.

Exactly, only the Amish and Mennonites are mentioned and exempted in the law.  Other groups could be added, proof of specific conditions will be enforced.  The current exemption is due to their commitment to care for one another AND refusal to accept much of anything from the commercialized world or government.
