One hive is going into winter with one deep and one medium full of honey. The second hive has one deep and two mediums. Last month they were pulling all the honey down and weren't quite done with the top box. I decided to let them finish but when I checked a couple days ago, they were refilling that box.
Even during these cold days, they're still bringing in pollen from somewhere.
I'll be going out there one more time to readjust the outer cover and close the bottom entrance.
All in all, they seem to be doing fine.

We have had several killing frosts already here in NW Ohio but they keep finding pollen.
