After harvesting honey last Saturday, my aunt says that her honey looks cloudy. What causes that to happen?  And last year she had a problem with too much granulation. I've read that it's common to have some in raw honey but this was like slushy sugar.  And advice?  huh

cloudy could be bubbles, wax bits, etc.  depends on how much filtering you did.  as for granulation, that happens.  if she doesn't like it, she can warm it a bit in a pan of hot water NOT on the heat source.  tell her that creamed honey is the way most of the world eats it.  or, if she's that fussy, don't share  grin

.....The greatest changes occur in their country without their cooperation. They are not even aware of precisely what has taken place. They suspect it; they have heard of the event by chance. More than that, they are unconcerned with the fortunes of their village, the safety of their streets, the fate of their church and its vestry. They think that such things have nothing to do with them, that they belong to a powerful stranger called “the government.” They enjoy these goods as tenants, without a sense of ownership, and never give a thought to how they might be improved.....
