Yes, that's a very strong statement, and it could easily be construed as incendiary rhetoric. Let's examine the facts though. Liberal Democrats never let a tragedy go to waste. Each and every time there is an incident involving gun violence, they give it as much coverage as they possibly can, and actually use the grieving victims many times before their loved ones are even buried. It's scary, not to mention horribly awful and beyond insensitive. I can't help but think of President Obama himself flying to Sandy Hook in Air Force One in order to give a ride to those he could use, by parading the grieving parents in front of Congress. It's one of the most sickening and disturbing sights I've ever seen, and I never imagined a President of this country would stoop so low.

Even worse he uses the tragedies to campaign for more money. I frequent another website that prints the request sent out from the whitehouse. Obama used both aurora and sandy hook to request funds for gun control and his campaign the day after the respective tragedies. The guy is a piece of garbage

Firearms Refresher Course, Simple as this!

1. "Those who hammer their guns into plows will plow for those who do
not."~Thomas Jefferson

2. "Those who trade liberty for security have neither." ~ John Adams

3. Free men do not ask permission to bear arms.

4. An armed man is a citizen. An unarmed man is a subject.

5. Only a government that is afraid of its citizens tries to control them.

6. Gun control is not about guns; it's about control.

7. You only have the rights you are willing to fight for.

8. Know guns, know peace, know safety. No guns, no peace, no safety.

9. You don't shoot to kill; you shoot to stay alive.

10. Assault is a behavior, not a device.

11. 64,999,987 firearms owners killed no one yesterday.

12. The United States Constitution (c) 1791. All Rights Reserved.

13. The Second Amendment is in place in case the politicians ignore the
others.

14. What part of 'shall not be infringed' do you NOT understand?

15. Guns have only two enemies; rust and politicians.

16. When you remove the people's right to bear arms, you create slaves.

17. The American Revolution would never have happened with gun control.

Another shooting today.  Again in a "gun free zone", a mall where concealed carry isn't allowed, and again the person doing the shooting is already famous...

Gun control is just a small part of the control they want.

When Jesse James was shot it was in the back by someone who wanted to be famous.  To the coward who shot Jesse James it was famous.  To the rest of us, it's infamous.  People then got it and put on Jesse's tombstone "shot in the back by a coward" and refused to use his name... but our media makes them instantly famous.

Would think there is nothing more insensitive than being murdered by a homicidal iddeiot with a gun! Can you not see the irony in your statement?

More than that, they are unconcerned with the fortunes of their village, the safety of their streets, the fate of their church and its vestry. They think that such things have nothing to do with them, that they belong to a powerful stranger called “the government.” They enjoy these goods as tenants, without a sense of ownership, and never give a thought to how they might be improved.....

I would much prefer one bullet to 30 stab wounds. Of course, neither would happen if there were 10 armed honest citizens present.
