Carry a pencil or magic marker with you. When you do something to or in a hive put the action on the top. you can hivetracks later.
I do this even if I just check to see if they need a super.

Sterling,
Good suggestion, thanks!  This was a good lesson confirming what I already knew...I need to be more diligent about keeping track of exactly what I'm doing and needs to be done to my hives.

Moots I am glad I waited to comment. Was wondering how they drew out so much comb in a short period as I had caught a couple big swarms and they never drew out that quick. They musta been workin overtime for that much! shocked I am just adding supers on a couple swarms I caught a month ago. Now grant ya I don't feed swarms a whole lot as they are willing and able to sustain themselves being that is what they prepared to do when they swarmed and it saves me to feed the removals only but that is just me. Glad you figured it out.

More than that, they are unconcerned with the fortunes of their village, the safety of their streets, the fate of their church and its vestry. They think that such things have nothing to do with them, that they belong to a powerful stranger called “the government.” They enjoy these goods as tenants, without a sense of ownership, and never give a thought to how they might be improved.....
