I have 3 established hives (since Oct 2012); so I'm new. 2 are double deep and 1 is a deep topped with a medium. IL 67 y/o

Running double deeps (10 frame) with shallows. No excluders.

Ten frame double deeps for brood and mediums for honey supers, no excluders.

Exactly the same configuration for me!
