Hi,
How much do you think 3lbs of bees will carry me? One deep box? Less? More?
Thanks

I think I payed $52 for a 3 lb package last year, I picked these up from a local source that picked up 500 packages, so there was no delivery on top of the $52.
When you hive the package, you will want to start with a small space. One deep is enough to start - NOT more, Or you could start with two mediums.

And when you feed them, stop feeding when combs are almost ready. Do not fill frames with syrup.
