Ok here is my very first question .... Why does my new pigeon mtn jacket zip like a girls jacket ( zipper pull on the left side ) ?  Looking fwd to posting and chatting with you all.

Welcome, have fun!

Welcome to the forum, Mayor.  On the jacket, I have no idea.  Check on what you ordered, if its a problem see about returning it for different one.  Good luck to you on your new endeavor, it's addictive.

What I'd like to know is how did you know there was a difference?

I had no idea. Smiley

Anyway got mine from Pigeon Mtn and it zips like all my other jackets.

So do two of my jackets from (Canada) and a couple of custom leather jackets I bought in another foreign country... I think that's a US concept.  It does feel awkard as I'm used to being able to unzip one handed, and I can't seem to manage it with the backward zippers...
