This is one of my favorites. Anyone else enjoy this sort of thing?

This was written and performed for the Glory of God.  Created by a people who brought architecture, science and the arts to dizzying heights.  Unfortunately they are now considered the root of all evil and the schools actively train their children to hate the values of their tribe.  Sorry it is not rap but it works for me.

Vance- I enjoy classical as well. Beautiful music.
I wouldn't classify My post as rap. Sure it has some background music but it was written to be read or spoken as poetry.

I have to wonder how it is disturbing. Whatever your beliefs.

The idealist in me agrees with David Bowden's little rap.  The idealist in me realizes that no significant advancement of the human condition can be made unless there is a powerful and very often violent faction standing behind the forces that want to make the Earth a more "peaceful" (yes I know that it isn't consistant with my first statement) place.

For as long as man has walked upright he has never found a way to ensure peace except by killing those who he strives against.  Is it sad?  Why yes it is.  Tell us how to change it and then you lead the charge for change but remember, NO violence.

I don't have an answer for everyone. I do have an answer for me though.

I believe MLK Jr. was on the right track with his NONviolent protests and sit-ins. Violence was used against them but it didn't deter his resolve. I am a christian so I naturally have to point to Jesus and the disciples as another example of NONviloent change occurring.
It can be VERY effective.
