well, after having to go back to feeding a few days ago today i found several swarm cells in a couple of hives today.  i guess the bees think it's time.  i made a couple of splits and started a couple of queen nurseries.  go figure.

Great to hear it 10framer. I have got to added sups to my hive sunday. I have been getting calls like mad this pass 2 weeks. I lost another hive myself this past week . they had plenty of honey but could not get on it while we had that hard freeze come Thur. I am glad that we are near the end of the cold. they say we have one more day around the 4Th that the temps will only get up to 56 and low of 47 then back up into the 80's after that. thank God for spring. march was truly a lion. Now for the lamb.

john now we've got to hope the april showers only happen at night.  it would be a shame to have a lot of blooms only to have the flows rained out.
