That was the plan all along.  To make you have to get ObamaCare.

Now you know Allen, that Obama wouldn't tax the middle class.    Well at least haven't heard everything is still George Bush's fault lately, now it's the Republican House.

remember that debate we had about how many pages the bill was?  didn't matter.  most of the law was not written.  now we are up to 1000's of pages of just regulations!  we still have no clue what this is going to be.

of course your premiums are going up.  how could they not.  force things to be covered and given for free.  take away choice in policies.  it's like magic!  premiums go up.

Many employers are cutting employee hours so they will fall under the threshold for supplying healthcare insurance.

Beemaster is still on sequestration.  The White House is still not giving toures to little school children.  And the President of Vice... or is it the Vice President just ran up a $1,000,000 plus hotel bill for two nights in London and Paris.

Coming from an Administration that promised we the voters "The most ethical administration in history."  This is not only ridiculous but it is also criminal and treasonous.

Meanwhile citizens are mulling over the possibility of a Federal monument in Barrack Obama's honor.  You know, something high in the mountains like the monument at Mount Rushmore.  In fact they have already built it and are only waiting for the honoree to take up residence.  Of course it will have to be renamed.  It is located about 10 miles from Florence, Colorado.

You quote the worst-case scenarios from the article, but not the paragraphs that refer to premiums only going up moderately or even decreasing.

only quote of premiums going up moderatly or decreasing was from the current administration in the article. Insurance companies at a minimium said cost will rise 14% and that was the lowest i saw. Big contrast to the kings decree a few years back that this would cut cost across the board and make health insurance affordable to all.

This bill is garbage

Kind of stole my thunder! Its now 17000 and counting. This was never about healthcare. This is about control and keeping the Progressives in power. As more and more ugly details of this law are enacted, many Democrats ( should have read before passing ) who supported this monstrosity are or will be, running for cover.

There are no paragraphs that make this claim.  All such claims in the link are the words of the Obama Administration and these words must not be taken at their face value but discounted like the words of all politicians.  Since Obama care forbids insurance companies from charging more for covering the sick than they charge for the healthy what Obama Care is in reality is a program to subsidy the unhealthy, the drug abuser, the alcoholic, the smoker and the overweight.  I realize that you will likely take exception to my words but before you counter post please explain how requiring the unhealthy to pay no more than the healthy for health care is not a tax on the healthy to subsidise the lifestyle of the unhealthy..

No, it's the large insurance providers who are quoting much smaller AND larger increases. I wonder how much extra profit health insurance companies will try to hide in their increases, blaming it on gov't instead.

Oh yeah, more of the blame the evil corporation mindset...

luvin honey, if you think there's SO MUCH profit in running an insurance company, why not start one of your own?  Take your capital, your hard earned money, and put it as risk.  You do understand that is the way capitalism works, don't you?  It's the whole risk vs reward thing....If there's not the potential for "profit" what incentive is there for risking ones money???

Capitalism is hands down the greatest economic system ever, giving everyone an opportunity.....Understand, an "opportunity", not a guarantee, but an opportunity to make something of themselves.  Yet this administrations seems hellbent on trashing it and turning us into some Socialist style European government.  Unfortunately, I think this country has hit a tipping point and is going to allow it to happen.  Based on the last election, it now looks like we have more people interested in free stuff than freedom.  Truly a sad day for this country, in my opinion, it's going to be a disaster.

Honestly, one of the reason I got into bees is because it was just to darn depressing to go home and watch the evening news!
