This is a tail of two famous men, who both live in the state of Kalifornia.  One is a professional golfer and athletic entertainer Phil Mickelson.  The other is a comic entertainer and vulgarian Bill Maher.

Phil Mickelson trades on his image as a professional golfer and this includes his ability to endorse products used or purchased by those who play golf, like the game of golf, or look up to professional athletes.  To trade on his fame Mickelson must maintain a Mr. Clean image.

Maher’s stock in trade is controversy, in fact the more people Maher can offend with each flap of his lip, the better Maher likes it.

Bill Maher may be best known for this one single “joke”:
“We have been the cowards, lobbing cruise missiles from 2,000 miles away. That’s cowardly. Staying in the airplane when it hits the building, say what you want about it, it’s not cowardly.”

Since Bill Maher is the closest thing that Atheist in America have to a Billy Graham or to a Pope, I am shocked that Mr. Maher is ignorant of the fact that staying in the airplanes that struck the World Trade Center and the Pentagon on 911 was an act of religious faith by the 911 highjackers.  It was meant to guarantee their acceptance into the Mohammedan Heaven and the arms of their God.

Phil Mickelson is best known to those who read the sports pages or watch TV golf.  Until  recently when Mickelson mused about moving out of Kalifornia to avoid combined confiscatory state and federal income tax rates of 63%.  The straw that broke Phil Mickelson’s back and put him on page one was President Obama’s and Kalifornia Governor Jerry (Moon Beam) Brown’s income tax increases.

To point out the dishonesty of the Political Left, Bill Maher did not create any controversy among his fellow leftists when he warned Kalifornia’s Leftist politicians that they were going to loose him as a resident.  I am sorry to report that we won’t get lucky enough for Mr. Maher to renounce his U. S. citizenship and move off shore.  On the other hand Mr. Mickelson apologized for his words after a flurry of protests mostly from the political left.  Not a peep has been heard from the Left about Mr. Maher’s words.

"You know, I've made some dumb, dumb mistakes and, obviously, talking about this stuff was one of them," Mickelson said.
Mickelson said after Sunday's PGA event in La Quinta he might have to take "drastic measures" that could include leaving the state because of the increased financial burden he has incurred due to recent changes in California's tax laws.
Mickelson reiterated Wednesday he should not have made those comments in public.”
