Things to do in Perth?
«

Heading to Perth in early August on business. Upon arrival I've got 1 & 1/2 days in my schedule to acclimate before the action starts. I'm looking for things to do in Perth. I'm a fan of military history, local history, bees, and nature (but not gardens). I've found the Aviation Heritage Museum, Perth Zoo, Perth Mint, Western Australian Museum, and Leighton Battery Guns.
Are there some other things you'd recommend for me to visit and any local eateries to eat at that are unique to Perth?

August is a good time to visit Perth. The worst of the winter is over ( not that you would call it a winter). WA Apiarist Society meets first Wednesday of the month in South Perth.
Send me a private message.

G'day D Coates,
Are you flying directly into Perth or laying over on the east coast ?
