Hi from England, I live in Yorkshire in the UK, I have 4 hives 1 TBH and 3 Nationals, I keep my Bees on my Allotment. All my hives are Home Made, I have just got back into Bee-keeping after 40 years. looking forward to any Comments, Pete

Hi lylmilk, My hives are in a old chicken enclosure it is all fenced in with the inter locking wire fencing, and I have a door at one end of the compound, and all the hives are facing onto my Allotment, so the bees flight path is over my Allotment,

Sounds good Pete. I have debris netting around my hives, more to keep out dogs and kids, than for protecting 'members of the public' from the bees flight path since the hives are tucked away in a corner. I hope to use my TBH this year again.
40 years ago! pre-varroa, I've been beeking for 3 years, and find varroa a real struggle to keep on top of, nearly lost a hive this year with a mighty (no pun!)varroa load.
