Thought y'all might like to see what Peggy has been dealing with. It's been a long road so far but she's a real trooper with it all. She's able to walk to some extent now with a cane or walker but still has some healing to do. She'll be a t Bud5 though...wouldn't miss that!  Uploaded with ImageShack.us(thanks for posting it ken) |

I don't know Ken, I just know she crunched it pretty good! She was in surgery for 5.5 hrs so that's about a half hour per screw.

What Josh ahd was a Trimalleolar_fracture that involved both the bones and part of the ankle.

I feel for you Peggy. My right ankle looks pretty much the same. Mine was from a skydiving, first and only, accident. I totally dislocated the angle socket and broke it in 3 places. Be careful not to bump those pins on the plate that are sticking out. They sure do hurt, even when you bump them ever so lightly. Be sure to keep up your stretching therapy.

Doc has issued her a "scanner pass" , a card that they can scan at security points not only describes the metal implants but shows an x-ray to boot!
