Location, location, location!

Not sure this is the right forum for this question, but here goes:
Would it be possible to show the geographic location of forum members in the header next to their user name? I don't mean their addresses, but just something as simple as "Central Oklahoma," or, "NE United States."
Unless the person posting volunteers this info in their comments, it is sometimes difficult to judge whether their suggestions or observations would be possible to incorporate into one's own beekeeping practices in another climate zone. Heck, even just identifying the poster's climate zone (I'm thinking of the gardening chart) would be helpful.
Sometimes the person posting forgets to say where they are, so it's difficult to know whether their info could "translate" in one's own area. Again & again you see people respond to a post, "Where are you?", "What's your location?"
If this information was part of the header, it sure would save a lot of wasted energy!

Maybe I'm missing what you'd asking for...But location is available as part of one's profile and shows to the left of their post. I can see you're from Oceana county, Michigan.  

Are you saying you want more geographical, like Southeast Louisiana for me, instead of City and State?

Then maybe it's just "tapatalk" issue...I'm getting none of that info on my phone app. Pity...

It is part of ones profile BUT not everyone puts that in their profile. That is why you see HOPELESSLY LOST
on some posts.I think it should be mandatory to put in your city and state,it's not like giving your address or ss#.
Also I would like to see animated profile pictures outlawed. They are so distracting when trying to read a post.

You can opt not to see avatars in your profile section. Look under forum look and layout and check that box. Some people are not comfortable in this internet world of posting their towns. We always hope people are willing to offer that info,at least a general area,but we won't keep someone from becoming a member over this issue.
  And yes,not being able to see location is a tapatalk issue. I checked it on my ipod.
