Above is a shortened version of the 25 point program of the NSDAP.  The initials stand for the National Socialist German Workers' Party, otherwise known to you and me as the Nazi Party.  There are planks in the Nazi Party Platform dealing with abolishing large department stores like Wal Mark, breaking trusts, expanded old age benefits, education spending, rent control, creating jobs, helping the middle class, reducing the influence of religion, excess profits, job creation, seizing and redistributing wealth, abolition of unearned income, free loans (interest slavery) limiting profits in the defense industry (to zero), the substitution of German common law in place of Roman Law (that serves a materialistic world-order) and any number of other things that the Democrat Party either whole heatedly embraces or gives lip service to.  

Even in its own perverse way Obama's Dream Act harkens back to this platform by attempting to answer the question, "Who is German?"  Substitute North America for German, or Bund, or Volk and it is almost a perfect match for Hitler's ein Bloot (one blood) policy.  Hitler and Stalin differed only to the point that Communism is an International form of Socialism and the NSDAP concerned itself with creating Socialism only in the German nation.  The treatment of Jews was bad under both Hitler and Stalin.  If you'd like we can dissect the NSDAP platform one plank at a time to help us better understand the parallels between it and Obama's program.

there's a really good book that i recommend to people who want to know more about Hitler.  it's Adolf Hitler by John Toland.  everyone knows pretty much what happened in Nazi Germany, but few people know much about the lead up and early power of Hitler.  that's the most important part to know and this book covers it very well.

another good one is this one.  the author went to Germany post ww2 and interviewed the average German about what happened, how they let it happen, what was going on, and what they were thinking.

it's kind of a window on the psyche of the German citizen.

the main value in reading this kind of stuff and reading about the early communist leaders, is that you get to see the evolution of statism.  when you see that, you recognize what is happening here, if a little more slowly.  another  good example is Venezuela.  there are some differences in conditions that led to them electing a dictator, but what  he did and what he has done, will be immediately familiar as you study.

Phil is a COMPLETE whiner who has grown up privileged, but will still bleep about how bad he has it.  That man is a wimp.  The day he refused to play in the Ryder cup is the day I lost all respect for him . . . although, honestly, I didn't have much before that.

It's hard to listen to him bleep and take it seriously.  . . . Mr. "No Play".

He does, however, have a point.  The problem in this country is that we tax work product.  Work product should not be taxed.  If you need to tax anything, a national sales tax, or a tax on "wealth" would be better.

it will only get worse!  Obama and the dems are masters of class warfare and the teachers union has instilled the younger generation with an entitlement mentality.  everything needs to be "fair".  Scary actually,  pretty much a repeat of Hitler.

Grahamb, i have found that to be true.  what usually happens is that a liberal has run out of arguments (usually by post 3) and calls me a nazi.  that's ok.  it's one of the nicer things they have to say.
