Today is my sons eighteenth Birthday. It's kind of a bittersweet moment when your only child passes that milestone from childhood to adulthood by the magical number eighteen. I have the best wishes for him as he travels forwrd through lifes journey and hope his Mother and I have taught him well . He is a responsible young man that I am proud of. He has had his share of bad like through his early life, but he weathered them well and is none the worse for wear. He knows evrything that happens is not always someone elses fault  and knows that along with freedoms come responsibilities.
So hats off to you Josh,Mom and Dad are very proud of the young man you have become!!

"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag...We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language...And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

Happy issuance day Josh.  BTW Josh is my middle grand son's name.  Many happy returns.

Josh, remember that we are only promised 4 score and 10 years.  Use all 70 wisely.  Most of us spend our first 18 years wishing to be older, then we spend the subsequent 62 years wishing that we could be 18 just one more time. lau  Make em all count.
