I am on the list to get a few hives in April so I can start up with some beekeeping and figured I would get some homework done prior.
Heard this was a good place to do so. Located in Oklahoma and looking forward to learning more here on the site.

tasslehof,
Welcome to the forum. I just got my first bees a little over a week ago and I'm loving it. This forum has a lot of good people willing to share their experience and is a great resource.
Based on my early experience, I'll advise you of something that most if not everyone on this forum will probably agree with....Beekeeping is addictive. It's one of those wonderfully challenging subjects, the more I learn, I feel like the less I know!

It is better to keep ones mouth shut and be thought of as a fool than to open ones mouth and in so doing remove all doubt.
