Well, Ian backed out on us just tonight (we leave early tomorrow). Sad to say that one of his young friends has been killed in an auto accident and there is a memorial planned for Thur. I'm sad about his friend for sure but also that my buddy won't be enjoying this with us. He loved last years gathering and was really looking forward to seeing everyone again...Especially "Unca Bud".

Oh! I am so sad to not be able to come again this year.  Cry  I tried and tried, but just cannot schedule it. Sad  Reading all the posts is making me so sad.  I wish I could warp time and make an additional weekend in April! Sad /pout /pout /pout

All you first timers are about to get the most intensive immersive and wonderful education with fun, loving and amazing teachers.  Absorb it all, try everything, say thank you! and by all means make sure you sit and drink coffee and sop up all Alan Buckley has to say of a morning.  He will change the way you think about keeping bees!  The wealth of knowledge from everybody is just astounding.  And the camaraderie is  even better.  Ohhh!  I so wish I could gooo!

If anyone is passing through Atlanta on the way and feels like stopping by to pick up Bud's box, please let me know! I WILL get there next year, but would sure like to return it Smiley.

love to everyone, and JP, take a bite of EVERYTHING for me  evil  and hug EVERYBODY from me Kiss  and bud twice!

love and missing you ALL,
ziffa

June and I won't be coming this year either. We wanted to see all of the people that we met last year, plus met a bunch of new beeks this year.

In three weeks we are going to the Hatfield and McCoy Trails up in West Virginia. Since we started riding ATVs, we have lost some of our interest in bees. We were going to try and make both trips, but have decided to just do one.

Peg and I are here at Bud's! We got in last night after a 12hr drive. Schawee and Nate were here already and JP and Liz showed up early this am and we woke to find Dallas sleeping in his truck (with his kids) in the front yard. The party has started!
