Electric fences and wax comb building.

At the moment I only have one bee yard with electric fences (beecause of hungry bears). Next year I will bee expanding to 5 more.

I don't know if it is my imagination but I seem to see a bit more bur comb building in the wrong places when I give them new comb to build.

I had some extra wire left when I built the fences so i buried it in the ground around the fence right under were a bear will have his paws in the wet grass  grin evil grin as extra grounding so the bee yard is well earthed.

Has anybody else noticed more bur comb in bee yards exposed to electric fields?
