Some time ago, I mentioned my own thoughts on not supporting Hollywood types that makes millions off movies, then turn around and try to dictate or try to control the very people who have placed them on the pillars to begin with. This was at a time when so many expressed socialist views while campaigning for Obama.
I'm pretty sure many thought I was over the top, and suggested that not seeing some movie, while not putting money in their pockets was considered extreme.
The only reason they are celebrities is because other people make them celebrities. They crap just like you, wipe just you, and their crap stinks just like yours. Of course they are hypocrites.
The only way the average person can "vote" or make an impact, is to not pay 15 dollars at the movie theatre, or buy their merchandise. There are certain folks I would never entertain the thought of putting my money in their pockets, by supporting their movies, shows, merchandise, etc.
Just remember.....they are who they are, because you put them there. In their 20,000 square foot homes, while they tell you how YOU are destroying the earth by the way YOU live.
Vote with your wallet. If you think these people are hypocrites, then do something. Otherwise you are a bigger problem than they ever could be. You give them power. Not each and every one of you, but collectively as a society.
I would not rather buy a "I support Obama" t-shirt than I would support one of these idiots in Hollywood.
Think about that the next time you pull out your wallet.

I'll agree that they are a bunch of hypocrites. In the last 30 years I have gone to the movies less that 10 times, none in the last 10 yrs. I have bought the movie Cars for a grandson, and Madagascar for another, I don't rent movies. When they come on HBO I may watch. I try not to be racist either, there are good and bad people in every race. But what Jamie Foxx in this video says about the killings in the movie theater, "Killing all the white people in the movie How great is that". Sets about as good as Rev. Wrights sermons and Obamas sitting there for 20 yrs and never noticed that the sermons were racist. Or much of the rest of the country when it was brought up during his first election. Just my opinion.

I agreen they are a bunch of hypocrites.
With that said, Jamie foxx was NOT referring to the movie theatre shooting, he was talking about his current movie. You don't have to like him or his films, but you also don't need to mischaracterize his statements.

I could be wrong about what I said, haven't seen or really heard about his new movie. I was just going on what I thought I was seeing on the video. Sorry if I got wrong.

Not over the top at all. I've been doing this for some time. No matter how popular I reuse to pay money to support any actor that sputs off. Since when does playing a role make someone a subject matter expert? Who cares about thier politics, just shut up and so what you're paid to do. Bunch of prima-donna's. The comment Foxx made was about his latest flick while on SNL...I believe. It's interesting that in this clip he says "...I get to kill all the white people, how great is that" What he really said was something a bit different.
